Goal: Give a unique Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience to Bar/Bat Mitzvah children in Israel who do not have the means to make a celebration.
Method: North American Bar/Bat Mitzvah students will raise money to send their Israeli peers along with their families on the Bar/Bat Mitzvah trip of a lifetime.
Choose a way to raise the money for this unique tzedaka project. This is your chance to be creative! Maybe give a portion of your Bar/Bat Mitzvah money to "A Mitzvah for your Bar/Bat Mitzvah" (you can even tell your guests your goal in your invitation!)
Results: These are the donation packages you can choose from:
1. Basic Package ($800)- Sends an Israeli Bar/Bat Mitzvah and his family on the following adventure including:
P Bar Mitzvah ceremony at the Kotel (Western Wall)
P Festival meal to follow
P Site-seeing adventure through beautiful parts of Israel
2. Deluxe Package ($1400)-Sends an Israeli Bar/Bat Mitzvah and his family on the following adventure including:
P Bar Mitzvah ceremony at the Kotel (Western Wall)
P Festival meal to follow
P Site-seeing adventure through beautiful parts of Israel
P Bar Mitzvah gift of Tefilin (boys) or candlesticks (girls)
P Photographer to capture the memorable moments
· Each trip will led by a professional tour guide and escorted by yeshiva in Israel students (to help make a minyan and truly make the "simcha" a joyful one!)
It is a true blessing to be able to give to those in need. There is no more perfect time to give someone the gift of celebration than during a child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah year itself, when he/she himself is blessed with so much simcha (joy).
